Shipping Overview

At Rent The Collection, we ship all rental garments via Australia Post Express to ensure fast and reliable delivery across Australia only.
We do not offer international shipping.

Shipping Cost

  • A flat rate of $30 applies to all postal hires.

  • This fee includes:

    • Express delivery to you

    • A prepaid return shipping label

    • Use of a reusable garment satchel

How It Works

  1. Your hire is dispatched to arrive by 6 PM on your selected start date, using AusPost Express.

  2. Your rental item will arrive in a reusable satchel with a return label inside.

  3. Keep the satchel and repackage the item using the same satchel.

  4. On your return date, attach the new label (completely covering the old one) and lodge at any Australia Post Office or Express street postbox.

Delivery Timeframes

  • All deliveries are handled by Australia Post Express.

  • Delivery times vary depending on your location. For standard metro areas, expect 1–2 business days.

  • Rural and remote areas may take longer — we strongly recommend checking AusPost Delivery Timeframes and booking your rental start date accordingly.

  • We are not responsible for postal delays, so please allow sufficient time when booking your hire.

Pick-Up Option

  • Local pick-up is available from Roseville, NSW by appointment only.

  • You can select the pick-up option during checkout, and we will contact you to confirm your pick-up time.

Last-Minute Orders

Need something urgently?
Send us an email at info@rentthecollection.com.au or DM us on Instagram — we may be able to arrange a same-day hire or courier in special cases (Sydney only).

Missed Deliveries

  • If Australia Post is unable to deliver your item and it is taken to a collection point, it is your responsibility to pick it up in time.

  • Refunds will not be issued for missed deliveries or items not collected in time for your event.

Shipping Restrictions

  • We currently ship within Australia only.

  • We do not deliver to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers for postal hires — please use a residential or business address.
